Therapeutic Hypnosis
Therapeutic hypnosis or hypnotherapy is becoming an increasingly popular way of achieving the desired changes because the changes in this process can be achieved more quickly and the results are usually permanent. The process of hypnotherapy is relaxing and pleasant and leads to new insights for clients. The hypnotherapy I perform is a therapy based on cognitive-behavioral principles which I combine and supplement with hypnosis. Such a combined approach has been scientifically proven to be one of the most effective approaches for achieving certain goals.
Techniques and methods are professional, established, and supported by evidence of their effectiveness. Hypnotherapy is usually a shorter process than classical counseling or psychotherapy and is proven to be very effective in eliminating stress, anxiety, fears, phobias, insomnia, lack of self-confidence, low self-esteem, etc.
There are many misconceptions about hypnosis among people. They are mainly the result of the practice of stage hypnosis, the purpose of which is only to entertain the audience. The therapeutic hypnosis that I practice is something completely different and has nothing in common with stage hypnosis. You stay in control at all times in hypnotherapy. In hypnosis, it is not possible to “get stuck” and remain in a hypnotic state after the end of the therapy, which is one of the most common stereotypes and fears of patients when mentioning this technique. Therapeutic hypnosis is a completely safe method, during which you keep complete control over yourself and are aware of everything that happens during the process. During the process, you remain active and able to respond at all times.
People's experiences with therapeutic hypnosis vary. You can experience it as a feeling of deep relaxation, or it can be a feeling similar to the one that overwhelms you when you immerse yourself in a good movie or a book. People usually describe it as very pleasant, similar to daydreaming. In hypnotherapy, under my guidance, you can completely focus on the therapeutic change because you exclude all other stimuli at the same time. It is a highly receptive state of your brain in which new connections are formed and new experiences are created. These two are the basis and the bridge to the changes you want to achieve.

What can you expect?
Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process between you and me. My job is to support and guide you to achieve your goals. People are different and have different combinations of skills, areas of strength, and weaknesses, so I always adapt the process to suit you and your characteristics. In the process, you use your imagination, and in hypnosis, you practice the desired changes in your thoughts, behaviors, and experiences. In the beginning, we talk together about the problems you are facing and together we set the goals you want to achieve. When we cooperate, we also create a plan for how we will achieve these goals.
Hypnosis is a skill that you learn to practice on your own during therapy. During the process, you will get to know the tools and learn the skills of how you can help yourself achieve the desired changes in your life with the help of self-hypnosis. In other words, I teach you to become your own therapist.
